ELECTRIC VEHICLE CHARGING

Throughout it's history, diversification has been an integral part of Tegrel's strategy. Ongoing legislation changes, and public demand for a cleaner environment are driving the change toward more and more renewable energy sources. To this end Tegrel have developed and are continuing to develop a range of products that satisfy the growing need for renewable energy.

In conjunction with Romag Ltd and Solartec (a renewable energy division of British Gas) Tegrel offer a solar powered Electric Vehicle (EV) charging canopy. The canopy can be supplied as a single stand alone unit the size of a standard car parking space, or alternatively as a multiple modular EV charging station in any quantity required.

The Romag solar panels are designed to generate XXXXkw/hrs per annum, and extensive trials on units already in service show this to be very much a minimum value. The generation of electricity and supply to the National Grid allows any customer to claim revenue from the Government Feed in Tariff (41p/kwh as at Jan 2011) and this revenue is guaranteed for 25 years!
