Tegrel Ltd was established in 1968 as a manufacturer of sheet steel enclosures primarily working within electrical industry.

The company is based in Blaydon, Newcastle-upon-Tyne, close to the A1(M) motorway in a purpose built factory. For more details of our on-site facilities, click here

WHAT WE DO

Since the Company's beginning, Tegrel Ltd have developed an unrivalled reputation for the design and manufacture of specialist enclosures, contol panels and cabinets for the electrical industry. Although usually hidden from view, we are proud of the fact that our products are at the part of some of the most prestigious systems. Our control panels can be seen in control rooms for air-traffic control through to the decks of North Sea Oil Rigs.

Our projects include the design, manufacture and installation of a wide variety of metal fabrications and passenger information cases in the redeveloped of St. Pancras, and Kings Cross Railway Stations in London. The design and manufacture of a range of Variable Messaging Signs (VMS) for the Highways Agency, and the design and manufacture of offshore buoys for Trinity House.

While these clients are by no means "run of the mill" the team at Tegrel Ltd prides itself on its ability to solve customers problems, and to that end can boast of products as diverse as a 10m x 5m x 4m anaerobic digestion tank, a ferry terminal roof, thruster housings for luxury motor yachts, and electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure products, to name but a few!
